Major refurbishment of the Baker's Lane Shopping Centre Precinct was completed for St. Martins Property Corporation Ltd.

The finished scheme addressed two major visual obstuctions to local views. Removal of the storey high bridge link midway along Baker's Lane allowed a view of the Cathedral from the new Central Square, and the pedestrian route through Gresley Row opened futher aspects of the townscape.
